Here at First Pres we want you to know that you matter. Regardless of whether you have a background in the church or if this is your first time visiting one, you have been prayed for and there is a place for you in our family.
In Matthew 11:28, Jesus offers an invitation, "Come to me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Find rest in Jesus here at First Presbyterian Church Dyersburg.

Wondering what to wear, or where to go? We hope this answers your questions so you feel at home on your first visit.
There's no dress code here. You'll see everything from a suit and tie to blue jeans, so wear whatever you're comfortable in. We're just glad you're here.
When You Arrive
Come in through the main sanctuary doors, where a greeter will welcome you and hand you an order of worship. It walks you through the whole service, with the songs, prayers, and Scripture readings, so you can follow along and join in. Sit anywhere you'd like. If you're running late, please come on in.
What Worship Is Like
Sunday worship begins at 10:45 AM and ends by noon. We sing, pray, hear God's Word read and preached, and come to the Lord's Supper together every week. All baptized believers who are members of an evangelical church are welcome to join us at the Table.
Bring the Kids
Children are always welcome in worship. We have a kids' worship guide made just for them each week, so they can follow along too. Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:30 AM.
We'd Love to Meet You
Our elders and members will be glad to say hello before or after the service. We'd love to get to know you, pray for you, and help you find your place in our church family.

Wednesday Nights
Wednesday nights are a relaxed way to get to know us. Dinner is at 6:00 PM in Alexander Hall, then there are groups for kids, youth, and adults.
